iqbi automates ESG data for large real estate parties. Our mission is to provide our clients with optimal service and to “unburden” them regarding ESG and sustainability. By transforming complex IoT data into actionable insights, we help the real estate world achieve its green goals. We are growing and are looking for a Product Owner to help professionalize our workflow and scale our impact.
What will you do?
As our Product Owner, you will be the pivot point between our Dev Team (6 developers) and our Data Team (3 data scientists). You ensure that the massive amounts of data we collect are not just stored but analysed and reported in a way that provides real value and delivers our data services flawlessly to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Backlog & Roadmap Management: Own and prioritize the product backlogs for both the Dev and Data teams. You ensure that the roadmap balances technical infrastructure, data accuracy, and new feature requests.
- Analysis & Reporting Strategy: Work closely with the Data Team to define how we analyze IoT consumption data and transform it into the ESG reports our clients rely on for their sustainability compliance.
- Bridge the Gap: Translate high-level data requirements and client needs into clear, actionable user stories for our developers and data scientists.
- Process Optimization: Lay the foundation for more efficient workflows. You will evaluate our current way of working and implement the necessary structure to help a growing team of 9+ team members collaborate effectively.
- Stakeholder Management & Client Success: Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and key clients, ensuring smooth delivery of our services while gathering feedback for future product development.
Account Operations (OPS)
- Client Onboarding: Streamline the technical onboarding process for new clients, ensuring seamless integration and setup.
- Platform Support: Act as the primary technical support for platform-related inquiries, resolving complex questions and ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Service Quality: Monitor data delivery performance and proactively address potential disruptions to guarantee a high standard of service.
- Data Insight Translation: Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable value that directly addresses client needs and business goals.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Product Owner with a strong technical foundation who can speak the language of both business and engineering.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership, preferably within a SaaS or Data-driven environment.
- Technical & Analytical Affinity: You understand the complexities of IoT data pipelines and how to turn raw data into meaningful analysis and reporting.
- Process Mindset: Proven experience in optimizing development workflows. You know how to build the foundation for a scalable, high-performing team.
- ESG-driven: A strong interest in ESG metrics and the drive to help real estate owners decarbonize through data.
- Communication: Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus), with the ability to clearly explain technical progress to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: A degree in Business, IT, Sustainability, or a related field.
